The main difference is that in the case of labor leasing the leased worker working at a company is actually employed by HireHand, i.e. we lease labor force to the employer. In the case of personnel placement, workers are placed in your employment from the service of another labor leasing company, i.e. the worker is actually employed by another personnel placement company.
We’ve established a cooperation network all over Eastern Europe; among other countries, we lease workers from Ukraine and Belarus.
We perform personnel placement in many different areas of activity such as production, transport, and logistics; construction and metal industry; storage industry; packaging and production line operations; painting, woodwork, and electrical work; cleaning work; road construction; managerial and office work; hotel industry; agriculture and forestry; catering; and medicine. We find workers suitable for the area of activity that adheres to the client’s needs.
The time spent on selecting a worker largely depends on the client. The recruitment process, including worker selection, arrangement of interviews, and presentation to the employer takes about one week. Preparing required documents for a recruited worker and related proceedings until commencement of work normally take 10 working days.
Third country nationals have different options available to them for working in Estonia.
1. Short-term employment enables the worker to work in Estonia for 365 consecutive days. In that case, the term for processing of work permits is 10 working days.
2. A residence permit enables one to work in Estonia for up to five years. Note here, however, that Estonia issues up to 1,315 residence permits in one year. The term for processing of residence permits is 60 days.
The entire recruitment process is undertaken in adherence to the employer’s requirements as related to candidates. First, all of the particular position’s characteristics – including requirements applicable to education, work experience, language skills, and personal characteristics - are specified in collaboration with the client. If foreign labor force is used, we prepare a job advertisement and, with help from HireHand’s overseas cooperation partners, publish the ad in relevant workers’ country of residence. If required, we search for suitable candidates in databases from different countries. We receive the submitted resumes and applications and forward the best of them to the employer who makes the final decision.
Just like in Estonia, skills required in a particular position are considered when searching for a suitable worker. We guarantee that workers provided by us meet all of the criteria prescribed by the employer such as required education and work experience. Prior to presenting a candidate to the employing company, we test the job seeker’s knowledge and skills thoroughly so as to make sure they are a professional and are ready to work abroad.
HireHand is responsible before the client for preparing all of the documents required to commence work. How salaries are paid depends on your chosen labor force service: in the case of labor leasing, we pay the salary; in the case of personnel placement, salary is paid by our partner, i.e. the other personnel placement company where the worker is officially employed; in the case of personnel recruitment, we are responsible for the entire labor force search process, yet salary is paid by the company that requires relevant workers.
When a leasing service is used, the price of a working hour is agreed and, correspondingly to the area, also costs related to accommodation and transport. HireHand pays any costs related to recruitment, departure country / destination country connected logistics, and documentation. HireHand’s clients do not incur any expenses before the worker commences work for the employer.
Using temporary workers is actually very efficient. It saves the client both money and time, leaving the client’s hands free to handle the principal concerns of the company. Optimizing said important resources enables one to focus on advancing and growing the company. Temporary labor force is especially useful in the production field where seasonality plays an exceedingly significant role in work accumulation. Flexible worker numbers enable the company to quickly respond to increased order numbers, while saving money on payroll. This, in turn, will improve the company’s market position as compared to competitors. Using the services of a personnel placement company, you can rest assured when it comes to quality labor force.
